Eden Hazard is planning to tough it out a Real Madrid despite another frustrating season – despite the reports that Chelsea are interested in taking him back to the Premier League

The 31-year-old signed a five-year deal when he moved to Santiago Bernabeu from Chelsea in 2019, and there many out there that firmly believed that he would go on to maybe become the best attacker in La Liga.

But despite all the hype about his move to Spanish football, he has been linked with a return to Stamford Bridge amid his struggles for form and fitness under the guidance of Carlos Ancelotti.

However, despite all the rumours that he may actually be interested in a move back to the club, Hazard’s younger brother Kylian, who plays for Cercle Brugge, says he and his family are quite content to remain in Spain, telling HLN: “He is fine where he is, his family feels good there. He has a contract until 2024 and I think he will wait until then.

“Maybe he’s playing a little less now and the team is functioning without him, but everyone knows how good he is.”

There are alot of people out there that can figure out why he has not made the kind of impact that many had hoped for, but coming back to the Premier League would not be the best idea for the Belgian star.

He is no longer the player that he once was and he would struggle to get much game time at most clubs. So it is probably the right decision that he stays put, as he can collect his nice big wage and enjoy the weather.

It is just a shame that he never fulfilled his potential at the Spanish giants
