Massive Hazard hint! Eden opens up on exit from Chelsea amid Real Madrid speculation
Chelsea star Eden Hazard has opened up and dropped a massive hint he wants to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
Hazard has won the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Premier League twice during his time at Stamford Bridge but is now inside the final 18 months of his contract with Spanish giants Real Madrid reportedly keen on a transfre deal.
[the_ad id=”164″]And with reports Madrid are keen to seal a deal in the summer, Hazard was asked by France Football if a move to Real would please him, and he said: “Why not? You know it very well. You’re asking the question, but you know what the answer will be so you don’t have to ask it.
“I’ve won everything in England, apart from the Community Shield, but that doesn’t mean I’m leaving. I’ve always said that I wanted to explore something different after England but there are also things that might make me stay.
“After the World Cup, I wanted to leave, but in the end I stayed at Chelsea and I’m playing one of the best seasons so far.”
[the_ad id=”164″]Here is what we think.
Hazard is clearly the clubs best player and an absolute superstar for us, but his head has been turned by Madrid and it is obvious that he will not sign a new contract to stay at the club, even if we offer a wage that makes him one of the highest in the Premier League.
Madrid will make an offer for Hazard in the summer and our job will be to get the most we possibly can, use them to buy an adequate replacement and forget that he has followed Thibaut Courtois to Madrid.
If he stays, great. But if he leaves, then all players can be replaced.
