Chelsea close in on exciting star as £100 million Real Madrid to be announced ‘in coming days’?

Chelsea have reportedly registered their interest in Athletico Paranaense star Bruno Guimaraes.

With the season coming towards the backend of the year, it is now time for Maurizio Sarri to start eyeing up possible summer signings ahead of next season as he seeks to continue building his side and getting back towards Manchester City, Tottenham and Liverpool.

And we are continuing to monitor potential targets as they hold out hope that their two-window transfer ban will overturned or delayed by FIFA’s Appeal Committee on April 11, and several midfielders have been linked with a move to Stamford bridge over the last few months.

There is a lot of speculation that Sarri may lose a number of players during the summer window, as the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Barcelona are eying up Eden Hazard, Willian, N’Golo Kante and Callum Hudson-Odoi, who are four of Chelsea’s biggest and most exciting players right now.

And the ESPN website has now claimed we sent a scout to watch Guimaraes in Athletico Paranaense’s 3-0 win over Boca Juniors in the Copa Libertadores on Wednesday evening.

Meanwhile,  Chelsea and Real Madrid are close to a deal for winger Eden Hazard, after Zinedine Zidane reportedly approved the transfer of the Belgian winger.

It is no secret that Madrid are looking to splash around £300 million during the summer transfer window to revamp their squad, and one player that has been on the shopping list for the last few seasons is that of Hazard, who almost joined the Spaniards last season before Maurizio Sarri arrived at the club.

Now Marca has claimed that a deal could be close as are close to agreeing the terms of Hazard’s departure and agreement is expected to be finalised in the ‘coming days’.

Asked about Hazard on Friday, Zidane refused to rule out a move for the winger, who is a big fan of the French legend.

‘I will not give my personal opinion about what may happen because the season has not ended, but I’ve always appreciated him,’ said Zidane on the Marca website.

‘I’ve seen him a lot since I was playing in France. He’s fantastic.’
