Deal agreed? McGarry opens up and leaves Chelsea fans stunned with Hazard claim

Chelsea’s squad think Eden Hazard has already agreed a contract with Real Madrid, according to football operations and communications consultant Ian McGarry.

Hazard has been in brilliant form for us at the start of the new season and is playing some of the best football of his career, despite the fact that he almost left the club and headed to Madrid a few weeks before Maurizio Sarri was appointed permanent manager.

But Madrid have been keen on the Belgian for the last few seasons, and with the club losing Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus, it is widely expected that he packs his bags and gets that ‘dream move’ that many in the media have claimed over the weeks, with the player himself even admitting he does not want any regrets when he hangs up his boots.

And according to McGarry, the star names in the Blues dressing room believe Hazard’s time in west London could soon be up and he has already agreed a move to sign for Madrid.

McGarry said on the Sky Sports website: “There’s a feeling in the dressing room that he’s agreed a deal to go to Real Madrid and the reason he’s so calm about everything and not having contract negotiations with Chelsea is he has this option and he’s just waiting to exercise it.”

Could rumours be true about Hazard?

We are going through a transitional phase to get back to the very top of the game, and losing one of their best players in the next few windows would not be the best bit of business for the club.

But if reports are true and Hazard has already agreed to sign for Madrid, then it is time for the club to think about who could replace the little magician.
