Giroud speaks Ziyech and Werner, Havertz close to move, Video – Havertz claim made, £110 million of Oblak in Icchelseanews roundup..

Kai Havertz SHOULD NOT be Chelsea’s priority in the summer window if Willian goes – Gab Marcotti has opened up and told ESPN.

There has been so much speculation over the past few months with both Willian and Havertz in the headlines for totally different reasons.

Havertz is regarded as one of the finest talents in the game and is a top target for Frank Lampard, who is still keen to add to his attack, and it is believed that he will be the direct replacement for Willian, if he leaves.

Willian is out of contract at the end of the season, and with the club refusing to budge on on the two-year deal that they have offered, nothing is even close to being signed right now.

But in the video below, Gab Marcotti and Julien Laurens discuss the possibility of the London side signing Kai Havertz and Willian’s future at the club.

Atletico Madrid will not accept any offer lower than £110million for Jan Oblak, with Chelsea interested in a potential deal

Now look, we all know that Frank Lampard is not happy with the performances of Kepa, who has not developed during his time at the Bridge and is just an average stopper that could easily be replaced.

It is believed that WE are prepared to fork out £90m for Oblak and even offer Kepa Arrizabalaga as part of the deal in order to try and get the world class stopper early in the transfer window

Goal claim, however, Diego Simeone does not want to sell Oblak and Atletico would only consider bids that would meet the 27-year-old’s release clause, and that means that we would need to pay £110 million to sign the stopper.

Simeone has become accustomed to rumours over the future of key players in his squad, however, he is hoping that Oblak does not decide to leave the club and will stay at Madrid this summer.

“It does not surprise me, every year our most important players are wanted by the best in the world,” the Atletico boss told the media

“It is normal to always look for the best – and we have many. Some have left and others have stayed.

“It is logical and normal that anyone wants Oblak. He is our captain and an important player. I hope we can count on his work, which is enormous for Atleti.”

Kai Havertz is close to joining Chelsea after the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder held productive talks with Frank Lampard, according to reports.

Now there has been alot of transfer speculation in the media about the future of Havertz, and all you  fans know that he is seemingly the clubs top transfer target for the summer window.

We have already signed Timo Werner to add some more goals, they have already acquired Hakim Ziyech to add a bit more quality on the wings and they are seemingly seeking to add Havertz to the side that can do both.

His £90 million price tag may be the stumbling block to any potential deal this summer, but reports suggest that we believe they can get the German star for a smaller fee of around £70 million.

And According to the Athletic, Havertz has been convinced to join us following a discussion with Lampard about his vision and plans for the club.

The report also claims that a deal worth in the region of €80 million (£72.7m), which includes add-ons, will be agreed between the club and Leverkusen.

According to Sky Sports Italy, Havertz has already agreed personal terms with the club and is now waiting on Leverkusen to accept our offer.

Olivier Giroud says Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech are ‘very good signings’ and will motivate the Chelsea squad to raise their levels.

The season is not yet over and we are still challenging for both the Champions League spot and FA Cup trophy, but fans are already getting excited ahead of next season with the signings of Ziyech and Werner.

Alot has been said about the world class duo over the past few months after they agreed to make the move to the Premier League, with Ziyech regarded as one of the finest wingers in the game, while Werner is a goal-machine that could bring 30-plus goals a season to the side.

Frank Lampard is likely to have selection headaches next term with an array of attacking talent at his disposal, but French World Cup winner Giroud feels the extra competition can only be a positive thing.

‘I think it’s always nice to reinforce the team with very good signings,’ Giroud told Sky Sports.

‘It has to be positive for every single player in the squad to step up and to give the best from ourselves to have fair competition.

‘It’s good for the team, I take it very positively as extra motivation.’
