Nadiem Amiri admits Bayer Leverkusen players have been teasing Kai Havertz about his proposed move to Chelsea.

We are seeking to land a whole load of players in the transfer window in order to challenge for that Premier League title next season, and there is big speculation that Havertz is on his way to the club.

Recent reports in the media have claimed that Havertz has already agreed personal terms, reported to be £140,000-a-week, and that he is no waiting for the two clubs to agree a fee over the next couple of days.

Now, amid all the speculation Amiri has opened up and admitted that the Leverkusen players are teasing Havertz about his possible move to the Bridge, but are also hoping that he makes the right decision this summer.

Asked about the speculation surrounding Havertz, Leverkusen midfielder Amiri told SPORT1: ‘We don’t want to talk about it at all. ‘In training we are very relaxed, nobody would go there and speak to him and ask: “What are you doing now?” ‘The boy is concerned with that himself.’

‘I hope he makes the right decision,’ Amiri continued.

‘There are always a few jokes and a few things said.

‘But we need Kai! We also have to leave his head alone.’

WIll he officially come to the club? Hopefully so as all indications suggest that a move to the Bridge is on for the young man.

And yes he will be a brilliant signing that will add even more goals to the attack next season, so hurry up and get the deal announced, before someone swoops in and makes  a late bid to get a deal done
