Chelsea told midfielder will make move away from Stamford Bridge

Journalist Graeme Bailey has predicted to The CHELSEA Chronicle that Kieran Dewsbury-Hall could well be sold after just one season at the club after failing to make any sort of impact at Stamford Bridge.

After the arrival of Enzo Maresca at the beginning of the summer window – it was claimed that the Italian was very keen to bring Drewsbury-Hall to Stamford Bridge after a very impressive season at Leicester last year.

However, the move to London has not worked out for the player, He has clocked up just 43 minutes of Premier League action over three appearances this season, with only one of those – a six-minute stint at West Ham – coming since August.

While he has been given more opportunities in the Europa Conference League and the EFL Cup – even scoring in a 4-2 victory over Gent – he has frequently been left out of the Premier League squad in recent weeks.

Despite only recently joining the club, the future of the 26 year old £30m signing is already under scrutiny. Reports in Spain suggest that a number of Premier League sides are interested in taking the star on loan.

Now – Bailey has predicted to The Chelsea Chronicle that Kieran Dewsbury-Hall could well be sold after just one season at the club

He said: “Maresca knew about him and knew he was a quality player. It was a very strange deal. I don’t think he’s going to be at Chelsea at the start of next season. It is what it is.

“He’s not the only one it will happen to. Chelsea are well set in that department.”
