Kehl tells Chelsea they cant stop Haaland leaving, Tuchel wants money to land world class free agent and Madrid hand Chelsea £100 million transfer boost
Madrid open door for Chelsea Haaland deal, Tuchel eyeing up Alaba deal and Kehl issues Haaland transfer message in Chelsea latest…
Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will want summer transfer backing from Marina Granovskaia in his bid to land a more long-term replacement for the ageing Brazilian icon Thiago Silva.
Silva has been outstanding for the club since his move from PSG during the summer transfer window and has been the big reason why the club have been so defensively quality under Tuchel over the past couple of months.
However, we saw Thiago Silva dismissed before the half hour in their defeat to West Brom, at the weekend and And that’s made it clear the Blues require a long-term replacement for the Brazil international, who is evidently reaching the end of his long and successful career.
And that has led to constant speculation in the media that Alaba, who will be a free agent at the end of the season, is high up on the shopping list of the German boss Tuchel.
We are blessed with financial power and although the club has been hit by Covid-19, Abramovic is still reportedly willing to offer Alaba that £300,000-a-week wages that he reportedly wants.
Again, Alaba is a brilliant defender that has the ability to play in a number of positions, but at the end of the day, he is more of a left-back and not the ideal man to come in and replace Silva.
However, he would still be a very good addition to this side if they do manage to get a deal done, and it will be interesting to see just where he ends up.
Sebastian Kehl has admitted Borussia Dortmund may reach a point where they are powerless to keep hold of Chelsea target Erling Haaland in the summer transfer window.
Haaland is a player that has been in the headlines alot of the past few weeks, with all the games biggest clubs now looking to pay his £100 million asking price in the summer to possibly get a deal done.
It is no secret that we will be in the market for a new striker in the summer, because despite all their quality in attack, they do not have a striker that is able to score 30-goals a season like Haaland can.
Kehl, Dortmund’s head of first-team football has said positive talks have taken place with the player’s agent – with their intention being to keep the forward at the club.
“Our position is clear: we are planning with Erling,” Kehl said. “We are very relaxed about that.
[the_ad id=”164”]“Of course, we have been following the situation. But we had a very, very good talk with Mino and his (Haaland’s) father just recently.”
The concern for Dortmund is Haaland has a reported buy-out clause of €75 million (£64m / $88m) that becomes active in 2022, and any club who bids that figure would take BVB out of the picture.
But When asked if Haaland has asked Dortmund to let him leave, Kehl replied: “I don’t want to go into those talks now. From a certain point on, we may no longer be able to influence what the future will bring.”
How much would you guys love Haaland at the club?
Real Madrid will not make an offer for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, which will give Chelsea a massive boost in their quest to add the goal-scoring machine to that attack in the summer.
There are few more sought-after players in world football than the dynamic 20-year-old, who has scored 21 goals in 21 appearances in the Bundesliga this season.
Haaland spurned the Premier League giants advances to join Dortmund from RB Salzburg in December 2019, but speculation has continued about the Norway international leaving the German side in the coming transfer window, with Chelsea just one club linked with the player.
The Norway international’s agent is in talks with his top suitors in an attempt to start a bidding war, and reports on AS have claimed Haaland’s first choice destination is Madrid, but the Santiago Bernabeu club will not be making an offer.
With Covid-19 hitting the club very hard, it has been claimed that they will only be able to make on big transfer signing in the summer and would much prefer to add the exciting PSG star Kylian Mbappe to the attack.
Thomas Tuchel believes Erling Haaland’s agent Mino Raiola is “creating a race” to sign the prolific Borussia Dortmund striker and insists we are in no rush over any summer transfers.
Asked if the club will meet with Raiola and Haaland’s ex-Manchester City midfielder father, Blues boss Tuchel replied: “I will not answer that, out of respect for the player and for Borussia Dortmund.
“He’s a Borussia Dortmund player, and of course there’s big news around him and his agent. “And it seems like they are creating a race for the player.
“But still everybody needs to accept, and I will fully accept, that he is a Borussia Dortmund player. A very promising player of course, but with respect to the situation he’s not in our squad, he’s not in our club so there’s no comment on anything else regarding him.”
