Gotze on the move this summer, Grealish can play for Chelsea and Coutinho deal closes in in icchelseanews.com roundup..

Bayern Munich have opened the door for Chelsea to sign Philippe Coutinho by declining to pay a £110million option to buy the Barcelona playmaker.

The football world has been stopped over the past few months because of the Coronavirus Pandemic, but that has not stopped constant speculation in the media about possible signings that could be arriving to the club, and players that could be leaving.

Frank Lampard is no fool and knows that this side are a few signings away from challenging for titles and that he is why he is reportedly keen to try and acquire the services of Coutinho.

But reports in the media over the past few days have claimed that Barcelona have offered Philippe Coutinho to the us ahead of the summer window, as the Spanish giants are keen to get rid of the Brazilian, who has not made the impact that many had hoped when he signed from Liverpool.

Now twe have been handed a fresh boost after Bayern came out over the past few days and told the media that they will not be looking to activate the clause that is in the contract of Coutinho.

Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge told Der Spiegel: “The option expired and “we haven’t activated it.

“Now we’re going to draw up squad planning internally (for next season) and we’ll see if he still has a role to play with us or not.”

Mario Gotze will leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of his contract this summer, the Bundesliga club have confirmed.

Gotze was once heralded as the next big thing in football when he burst onto the scene a decade ago, and seemingly had the world at his feet when he left for Bayern Munich and helped Germany win the World Cup back in 2014.

But Gotze has struggled for game time at Dortmund this season and has only featured in 20 games for the German side, scoring three times, and he will now be available on a free transfer.

Frank Lampard is looking to add a bit more depth to the side and this could be an opportunity for the boss to snap up a free deal, that is a risk, but one that could work out.

“We will part ways with Mario Gotze this summer,” Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc told Sky Germany.

“It was a mutual and respectful decision. Mario is a great man.”

“He is a very good player who comes from our own youth system,” Zorc added.

“But it is also in his spirit that he is looking for a new job. Maybe abroad.”

Look, Gotze may not be the same player he was back in 2014 and is seemingly done at the very top of the game, but the PREMIER LEAGUE, could be a great move for him to make.

Jack Grealish ‘certainly’ has the ability to play for Chelsea and ‘any of the big clubs’, claims Martin O’Neill.

Willian is heavily tipped to leave the club in the coming transfer window, meaning that  boss Frank Lampard will need to delve into that transfer kitty ad land an adequate replacement, with Grealish on the shopping list of the Chelsea boss.

Grealish has been brilliant for Villa this season and is heavily tipped to join one of the big boys in the summer, and when Willian leaves the club, many have tipped him to be the perfect replacement for the Brazilian

Now former Villa boss O’Neil has opened up and claimed that Grealish has the ability to play for Manchester United, or any big club in the Premier League.

He told Stats Perform News, ‘On Grealish’s future, that’s difficult to say. He’s a big fans’ favourite and Villa is his football club as well.

‘Are you saying, “Does he have the ability to play for Manchester United?” Certainly, the natural talent to play for any of the big clubs – there’s no question about that.

‘I just don’t know enough and I’m in no position to make that judgement.’

Look, we have reported Grealish alot over the past few months and are massive fans of this young man. There are two reasons why he needs to be signed.

1 – Because the lad is on his way to becoming one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, has the ability to score and create and is a bargain for the price he is valued at.

2 – Because he needs to leave Villa, he is too good for the club and Stamford Bridge is the place that he could grow and develop, just like many of the other young players are doing at the club.
