Atalanta left-back Robin Gosens has got Chelsea fans very excited with his latest social media activity.

Now the transfer window is no officially open for the next ten weeks and there is alot of transfer speculation in the media suggesting that we are lining up a number of possible targets.

Frank Lampard does not need to spend alot of money to improve his current side, but he does need to add a couple of defenders to the side in order to turn this side from top four contenders to Premier League challengers.

And that has led to reports that they are interested in signing Gosens this summer in a deal that could be worth around the £50 million mark, a fee that Atalanta would very much accept.

Gosens, too, is open to a move and appears to already be keeping tabs on the club, with eagle-eyed fans spotting he had ‘liked’ a comment on Instagram from Werner.

Despite not following each other – he reacted to the German striker posting a picture from his first day at training, the Metro has reported.

And fans have been getting excited, ‘Man I’d be super psyched if he joined. It’s risky, but it’ll be glorious if it works out,’ wrote one fan

Another supporter suggested Werner’s post must have been recommended to Gosens, given that they do not follow each other, another replied: ‘Which means he’s actively looking at Chelsea related posts!’

Gosens is a top-class player that would be welcome to the club, that is all that needs to be said.
