End all speculation after Lampard announces striker Giroud to be at Chelsea player this deadline day

Frank Lampard has announced that striker Olivier Giroud will be a Chelsea player this month.
There has been a lot of transfer speculation in the media over the past few weeks about the imminent departure of striker Giroud, who has become very unhappy in the side this season after falling behind Tammy Abraham in the pecking order.
Abraham has proved himself to be a top Premier League striker, leading the clubs scoring charts with an impressive 14-goals in the Premier League this season, and rather than sit on the bench on a weekly basis, Giroud has shown a desire to depart the club for pastures new.
But manager Frank Lampard says he is happy with Giroud and will not be selling the France international.
“Olivier Giroud in this window has been incredible as a professional and as a man,” said Lampard on the Sky Sports website.
“We all know there has been interest. “I’ve sat here at every press conference and said ‘If it’s right for Olivier, for myself and the club’, and he’s been impeccable in that period.
“I’ve got huge respect for him as a player.
“The answer again is no. As in, will he leave? No.”
Look, we have made a massive mistake not letting this man go as nobody wants a player in the side that CLEARLY DOES NOT WANT TO BE AT THE CLUB. But as long as he puts in the performances and hits a few goals, letting him go in the summer may be the best option.

Chelsea was placed on a ban by fifa and remained without any recruitment for a whole season. They always knew the ban was going to be lifted and true to their expectations it was. It is a shame that Chelsea can’t take the advantage of this window to strengthen. Why? Maybe because they didn’t make early contacts preparatory to the ban being lifted until the market became very competitive. Big boys are no longer attracted to Chelsea because it is now a youth team. The youthful coach can’t manage senior players in his team no wonder the productivity of Kante,Pedro,Girhou, Alonso,Willians, etc have seriously dropped. A senior coach would have attracted decent top class players this window. For me,this job came too early for Mr Lampard. I have no problem if him and the Board are sacked. They have failed eventhough they are top four. It’s not the final placing and it should have been better. Lest I forget, please get rid of Arizaballa or whatever his name is. I mean the goalkeeper.
