Conor Gallagher has dropped the biggest hint that he intends to stay at CHELSEA during the summer transfer window.

Gallagher was one of the players that Mauricio Pochettino relied on the most over the course of his stay at Stamford Bridge – and the midfielder rarely let the side down with his hard-working performances.

But there has been alot of transfer speculation in the media that he is one player that the club are very much open to letting leave the club at the end of the season – with the likes of Tottenham and West Ham reportedly interested in a deal.

But Following the 2023/24 season, Gallagher has been quoted discussing the clubs mixed campaign along with his own personal achievements and dropped a hint that he is planning for next season with the Blues.

“It was a fantastic end to the season,” he said via Chelsea’s official website. “I think we won the last five games and it’s a great achievement for us.

“Securing European football is also a great achievement considering where we were at, but the expectation at CHELSEA is more than what we have achieved this season. Everyone knows that but considering the moment, it’s a great achievement.

“I’ve scored a few goals which has been very nice. You can’t beat the feeling of scoring and I’m really happy that I’ve been able to help the team out because that’s the most important thing.”

Of course this could be entirely uncoincidental but not once does Gallagher reference next season, perhaps aware of the fate that awaits him.

‘Pochettino was going to be the key figure in keeping him at the club but with him now gone, there is nothing stopping club chiefs from selling the midfielder to the highest bidder.’
