Frenchman sends message after Chelsea signing, Brazilian confirms he wants be Chelsea player, Blues told sign striker

Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news, gossip and transfer speculation from icchelseanews featuring the likes of Liam Delap and Andrey Santos…
Brazilian star Andrey Santos has opened up and revealed that he would like to stay at Chelsea this summer window
After signing the Brazilian teenager in January from Vasco da Gama, he joined up with his new CHELSEA teammates in the summer and impressed during the club’s pre-season tour of the United States.
The club made the big decision in the summer window to allow Santos to make the move to Forest for the season in hope that he would get some game time to adapt to the English game.
But The 19-year-old midfielder was only used twice by Forest in all competitions and in the end, we made the decision to bring him back to Stamford Bridge and then loan him out to Strasbourg until the end of this month.
Having impressed while on loan at Strasbourg in this campaign, the Brazil international will be hoping to be the breakout star at Stamford Bridge next season and he has now made his ambitions very clear.
Speaking to Eduardo Burgos of Diario AS, he said: “In principle, I stay at Chelsea. I want to play, I want to have minutes to be able to earn my place in the World Cup. I want to consolidate myself in Chelsea, I want to play regularly and be an undisputed starter, win titles with this shirt.”
He added: “I spoke with Romeo [Lavia] and Moi [Moises Caicedo]. I’m anxious to get to Chelsea. When we talk about Chelsea it’s a matter of winning and fighting for all competitions. With the Club World Cup it will not be different. We want to be the champions.”
CHELSEA TOLD TO SIGN STRIKER
Gary Neville has admitted he believes CHELSEA should sign another striker on top of Liam Delap, hinting that it should be one with more experience.
Now the club have been linked with Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres for a couple of seasons, but their massive wages and massive transfer fee meant that a move to the Premier League has not yet happened.
We have already signed Liam delap from Ipswich for £30 million but that has not stopped reports that Enzo Maresca would like a new striker to come in and replace Nicholas Jackson, who have been decent struggled for game time for goals sorry on a weekly basis and his performances been very inconsistent for a club like Chelsea, who want to win the champions League and premier League etc.
The club are on the verge of announcing Delap’s arrival with Nicolas Jackson finally set to receive some help up top. However, at 22 and 23, respectively, there is not much experience but Victor Osimhen or Viktor Gyokeres would certainly provide that with Neville appearing of a similar belief.
“I like Liam Delap. I think Chelsea need two strikers. I think they need two more on top of Jackson, or even if Jackson were to leave, then two strikers.
I don’t think Delap and Jackson are going to get Chelsea where they want to be, which is the top of the league or winning the Champions League.
For me, you don’t have three strikers who are all world-class superstars. You have a Jackson. You have a Delap who is younger and who has got the potential to grow. £30million represents good value in today’s market.
I think that’s a good buy for CHELSEA. United wanted him also as well. He’s obviously chosen to go to Chelsea, who are far further ahead than United at this moment in time.
I think the idea of having a striker like Jackson, who I think is a handful and who is a threat. I’d then go and get in someone else, then you’ve got a strong pool of strikers
LIAM DELAP MESSAGE SENT
Ex-Blues star Frank Lebeouf is hoping that CHELSEA fans are patient with new summer signing Liam Delap, after the big striker completed his move to Stamford Bridge this week.
Delap was attracting interest from a host of clubs, including Newcastle and Manchester United, after scoring 12 Premier League goals this season, But the 22-year-old chose Chelsea because he believes they can realise his ambition of winning silverware.
On Chelsea’s deal for Delap, Leboeuf said: ‘Expectations are going to be big and the pressure is going to be huge. You won’t know before you experienced it.
‘Any player wants to play for the biggest clubs and you want to try. Hopefully it’s going to work.
‘When I came to Chelsea, I was completely unknown so that was nice, but guys like Gianluca Vialli and Gianfranco Zola came with pressure, even if it wasn’t the Chelsea that we know now.’
He added: ‘Delap is going to have pressure.
‘The fans are fed up with bad strikers and they want someone productive.
‘Let’s give him a chance and see how it works. But unless you’ve tried you will not know if you deserve to be a Chelsea striker.’

Delap is a very good young striker that has all the potential to be a big player for CHELSEA, we have really snapped up a bargain already this summer transfer window. Hopefully he can cope with the pressures of playing with the Blues.
It is a great start to the summer window to see the players that we are being linked with, Delap has great potential, but i am hoping that the board are also able to bring in a few proven top level players that will really worry the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City next season.
