Record-breaker ‘will be marquee player’ for Pochettino and Chelsea!
CHELSEA midfielder Enzo Fernandez could be a marquee player for the Blues, according to journalist Paul Brown
Fernandez made headlines a couple of transfer windows ago after the board made the decision to spend some serious money and bring him to the club in a deal worth over £100 million.
Many people in the media doubted that he is worth so much, that he would be a massive flop and that he would struggle to make any sort of impact at Stamford Bridge, and they have been right.
But under Mauricio Pochettino he has looked more assured in that midfield and there are glimpses at to why the club paid so much money to get a deal done for the man.
And Brown sees Fernandez as the club’s “marquee player in years to come”, hinting he’s a fan of the one-time World Cup winner. He told GIVEMESPORT:
“I think Fernandez is critical to CHELSEA. I think he’s potentially their marquee player in years to come. I think they should build the team around him. It’s been frustrating to see him shoehorned into areas of the pitch where he doesn’t have the same influence.
‘I like him in a deeper role where he can run games, drive forward, and pick players out. He can be very creative and is a threat in front of goal too.”

Fernandez is a very good player that the club overspent for, but we had the money to get a deal done and they done it. He is certainly a player that has the potential to develop into a world class player and a man that can drive the club forward, fans just need to be patient.
