Prem boss makes transfer admission with Chelsea interested in powerful star

Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler has commented on the future of Evan Ferguson at the Amex Stadium, amid all the rumours that he is still a player that CHELSEA are interested in signing during the January window.
There was talk that a £150 million valuation was set on the young mans shoulders in the summer, but in the end, the option to stay at Brighton was took as clubs did not want to pay silly money in order to get the young man all signed up.
The Telegraph report that Brighton have made the decision to allow Ferguson to depart the club until the end of the season in order to get some first team minutes, and would like the star to stay in the Premier League
The Republic of Ireland forward was not included in the match-day squad to face Brentford, with his boss confirming after the game it was due to an ankle injury, while also answering questions on the player’s future after only starting two games in the Premier League so far this season.
“He needs to get back on the pitch,” Hurzeler said.
“Like I said, the rumours, I won’t discuss them in the public. It is important that the players knows our idea and we are honest with each other, to find the right solution for the club and in the end also for the player.
“I am really happy is in our squad and I am hoping he will be back on the pitch as soon as possible.”
