Jeremy Doku has reportedly made it clear that he only wants to join Manchester City, with interest from CHELSEA .

There is still plenty of time left in the transfer window to add a few more signings – and Doku is a man that has come onto the shopping list of a number of Premier League clubs in recent days.

WHAT IS THE LATEST –

Doku kicked off his career in the youth ranks at Anderlecht and went on to make 37 senior appearances for them, and he sealed a move to Rennes in 2020 and has featured 92 times for them since, scoring 12 goals and assisting another ten.

The club are very interested in getting a deal done, but 90min reports that the hot prospect has made a move to the Etihad Stadium his top priority.

Doku has been identified as a player who could fill the void on the right wing, with the Belgian telling Rennes he wants the transfer.

Pochettino has confirmed that the club are still looking to add a attacker to the squad this summer.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Pochettino said: “It is a difficult situation because we had two strikers in Nkunku and Broja but they are injured.

“It is not easy in this moment to find the right profile. We are in the process, working to see if we can add some players in this area

“But it is a job that is not easy for the club. For sure, they are working really hard to add some players.

“If it is not possible, we need to wait until Nkunku and Broja will be ready and we have the help of Mason [Burstow].

“I don’t think the problem is that we need another striker. The chances that we created, we need to be more clinical.

“It is not only the strikers that need to be clinical in front of goal.”
