Incoming CHELSEA signing Estevao Willian has opened up and revealed that the chance to move to London is one of the main reasons why he made the decision to sign with the Blues.

Estevao made just 22 senior appearances for Palmeiras before Chelsea made the decision to swoop in and bring him to the Premier League, although he will not be arriving until next season.

The announcement came after reports about a transfer potentially worth as much as £52m with the Brazilian club being struck. Estevao is has reportedly signed a nine-year contract until 2033 with the club.

He is already a full Brazilian International and many are hoping that this move to Stamford Bridge does not hold his development back, especially as he will have to adapt to a new country, a new League, a new language and new friends.

But the Brazilian star has been opening up and has said that one of the main reasons why he has decided to join us is because of London, he said: ‘Everyone is talking to me about Big Ben.

‘I haven’t done much research yet, but I’ve already found out a few things about it on the internet.

‘I’m excited to visit London. Everyone says it’s one of the best cities in the world, that it receives a lot of tourists and everyone praises it. That also influenced my decision to go to CHELSEA .

‘We’ll go there at the end of the year. They say it’s cold, but we’re prepared.’
