Italian star Emerson tells Lampard ‘he is ready for Chelsea’ amid speculation

Emerson has insisted that he’s “always ready” for Chelsea boss Frank Lampard, amid speculation that he is no longer wanted at the club

The club know that they need to get rid of a number of deadwood players at the club in the coming transfer window, and maybe raise some funds to complete a couple more transfer deals, as Frank Lampard is not completely happy with his squad.

However, there was also some reports in the media that we would allow Emerson to leave the club in the coming window on a potential loan-deal, if the club were unable to get the right kind of funds for the left-back.

However, the former Roma star says he’s still fully committed to the collective cause at the Bridge, and was pleased to help Lampard’s side bounce back from a damaging Premier League defeat to Manchester City by overcoming League Two side Morecambe on Sunday.

“I feel good because I’m training hard every day, I’m always ready when the manager puts me on the pitch and I try to do my best,” Emerson told the club’s official website.

“The game yesterday was very important for us because in the last game we lost. So the most important thing was to have a solid game and get the victory, like we did.”

Even though the club would like to offload a few players this month, there is no harm in keeping hold of Emerson until the end of the season, when the COVID issue will be a little better and there will be an opportunity to find an immediate replacement?

He is happy to stay, so let him for the next few months
