Marco Van Ginkel has admitted his delight after sealing another loan deal away from Chelsea.
Van Ginkel joined the club in 2013 from Vitesse and was hailed as one of the most brightest talents to come out of the Dutch League in recent years, but he has managed just four first-team appearances in seven years with the west London club.
The 27-year-old spent the entire 2019/20 campaign recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament injury but is now back to full fitness, but we have once again opted to let him leave the club on-loan, rather than have him in the squad.
Van Ginkel has already had three previous loan spells with PSV, and returns to the club for a fourth in a move that he is delighted with, Speaking to the PSV website, Van Ginkel said, “I will not be given a chance to join Chelsea’s first-team squad, which I appreciate, but I feel I am ready for the next step.
“I need to join a squad for full training and work hard towards making a comeback in the top flight. PSV are willing to give me a chance and I like that very much indeed. I have won the Eredivisie title with PSV twice and I know this wonderful club will help me stage a complete comeback.”

Van Ginkel last played an official game back in 2018, and will not be available for PSV anytime soon. He has previously played 64 times for PSV, scoring 31 times.
The man was never really good enough for us so this is a good bit of business by the club.
