Defender is set to join Chelsea and become seventh summer signing!
CHELSEA could shortly be welcoming in American left-back Caleb Wiley, according to The Athletic.
The club have been very active in the transfer market already this summer and have already completed a number of deals that include Toby Adarabioyo, Renato Veiga and Estevao Willian
But the club are still looking to keep on adding to the side over the next few months and keep adding players to the side that they feel can take the club into a new era at Stamford Bridge, and it seems that Wiley is next into the club.
The 19-year-old has already made his senior debut for his country and is tipped for a bright future.
It is thought the Atlanta United star will join on an £8.5m deal before initially being loaned out of French club Strasbourg, also owned by Todd Boehly and BlueCo.

Wiley is another one of those signings that is probably not even ready to make the move to one of the big clubs in world football – he has literally done nothing in the game and is now expected to move to Stamford Bridge and try to make some sort of impact.
He may be decent and could develop in the coming seasons – but like many of the young players that we have signed over the past few windows and been sold on or loaned out – that is probably the future of Wiley.
