Glen Johnson has told West Ham midfielder Declan Rice to join CHELSEA instead of Arsenal in the summer transfer window.
Rice is one of those players in the Premier League that has been tipped to leave West Ham he is tipped to make a move to a champions League club.
It is no secret that both Arsenal and CHELSEA are reportedly interested in trying to sign the midfielder – with many reports suggesting that they are both ready to pay the big money to get a deal done.
But amid all the speculation and rumours – Rice has been told to snub a move to the Gunners and join us- Quizzed about which club Rice should pick, Johnson told Lord Ping: ‘In terms of career longevity, I think somewhere like Chelsea.
‘They have obviously got big plans, the owners have come in and put the money on the line, they clearly want to be a success and they have got a fantastic coach.

‘He will get the best footballing side out of Declan I think, so I just see them competing within the next sort of three years, more so than Arsenal.’

The summer transfer window is many months away, Arsenal are looking to win a title for the first time in 20 years, the club are desperate to get back into the Champions League places, so they have other worries right now.
However – Rice is certainly a player that could improve the squad of the London giants and it will be very interesting to see just where he ends up.
