Van Der Sar opens door to £75 million deal and Chelsea eyeing up Italian Rugani

Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt will go to England or Spain this summer, according to the club’s CEO Edwin van der Sar.

The 19-year old has shown great leadership, ability and is a physical specimen already, with the likes of Barcelona, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United all hoping to try and get a deal done.

David Luiz and even Antonio Rudiger have not been good enough this season for us and it almost cost them a chance to get back inside the top four and Champions League football for next season.

De Ligt’s team-mate Frenkie de Jong has already agreed to join Barcelona at the end of the season for an initial fee of £65m, and Van Der Sar has admitted that he will make the move to England or Spain.

“Frenkie de Jong is already a Barcelona footballer, while De Ligt I think will go to England or Spain,” Van der Sar told Sky in Italy before Ajax were eliminated by Tottenham from the Champions League.

Meanwhile, we are eyeing up a fresh summer move for Juventus star Daniele Rugani.

Football’s world governing body have upheld the ban they handed the club in February after an investigation into the club’s signing of foreign U18 players, and as it stands, Chelsea can still buy players but would not be able to register them until the summer of 2020.

However, that has not stopped the speculation about whom Maurizio Sarri could look to sign during the summer transfer window if we can get the CAS to overturn the ban or even postpone it.

And according to the Daily Express, Juventus star Rugani could make his way to the club, as the lad is regarded as one of the best young defenders currently in Europe.

The 24-year olf Italian International is regarded very highly across Europe and is a wanted man by the Italian Champions, but he has become at the lack of game time under boss Max Allegri and has been constantly linked with moves away.
