Superstar Cavani speaks out, Pulisic on Sancho and Chelsea get sent Coutinho message in icchelseanews.com roundup..

Christian Pulisic has drawn comparisons between himself and his Jadon Sancho, with reports he could be heading to Chelsea in the summer.

Sancho is easily regarded as one of the finest talents in the game right now and has been constantly linked with a move to the Premier League, as we will be losing Willian in just a few weeks time after he failed to agree a new deal.

Willian’s departure from the club will mean that we will need to spend some serious money to buy an adequate replacement, and as we said, Sancho is the man that Lamps wants.

Now, amid all the speculation linking the star to the Premier League, Speaking to Sky Sports, Pulisic lauded Sancho, who has made a name for himself at the Bundesliga club since he joined them from Manchester City in 2017.

‘He was given an opportunity, just like I was, at a very high level, and they [Borussia Dortmund] show you right away that they trust you and they’re going to give an equal opportunity to all the players,’ said Pulisic.

‘He’s done an amazing job since he came in and has obviously shown what abilities he has.’

In quoting the American, the Express goes on to suggest that weare leading contenders to sign Sancho this summer with Chelsea holding the edge in the race to snap up the 20-year-old London native.

Chelsea target Edinson Cavani has addressed his future in an interview with Paris Saint-Germain’s official magazine, and he is leaving his options open.

We are one of the most exciting young sides in Europe right now and have some of the best talents in the game to excite us on a weekly basis, when there is actually football.

We  may have the likes of Tammy Abraham up top, but there is alot of speculation that the likes of Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi may leave the club in the summer, meaning that we will need to find an adequate replacement.

Now, amid all the speculation, he has spoken out about his future on the PSG magazine: “My career will last for maybe several years still, here or elsewhere, I don’t know,” he said.

“I’ve spoken about it a lot with my entourage. I’ve always said that I would like to quit football rather than football quitting me. “I’d really like to finish having given everything. To get to that point where I’d say, ‘Guys, this is the point where I have to go.’

“I don’t want life to lead me to play when I wouldn’t be capable of giving my best. The day will come where it will be obvious that the time’s come to move on to something else.”

Chelsea target Philippe Coutinho will only discuss any potential transfers when football is back to normal, according to agent Kia Joorabchian.

Coutinho has been in the transfer headlines alot over the past few months as all indications suggest that he is leaving Barcelona in the summer after failing to make any sort of impact on the side.

We are favourites to land Coutinho in the summer window, with Brazilian legend Rivaldo even coming out and confirming that we are leading the chase to get a transfer deal done.

But despite all the rumours that wehave already made contact with Barcelona and the agent of Coutinho about a possible transfer deal, Joorabchian has come out and claimed that Coutinho will not talk about any possible moves right now.

Speaking on talkSPORT, Joorabchian said: “Philippe at the moment, he’s at Bayern, but he’s sidelined at the moment.

“He’s had an injury, he had an operation two weeks ago on his ankle and he is six weeks for recovery for that.

“That unfortunately means he’ll probably miss a chunk of the Bundesliga. Hopefully he’ll be fit for the tail end of the season.

“But in terms of the rumours? At the moment we have not spoken to anybody about any deals whatsoever.”

Coutinho is a move that many fans would like to see happen and many fans are hoping does happen, but his agent is right and any talks will have to wait until the Coronavirus pandemic is on hits way out and football is back to normal.

But when it does, we would be some serious FOOLS if we did  not even attempt to bring him to London in the summer, we will need a player like him in the side when Willian sadly departs the club.
