It has again been claimed that Trevoh Chalobah does not want to leave Chelsea this summer window, but is being forced out of the club.

Chalobah made 13 Premier League appearances last season after missing the first six months of the campaign with a hamstring injury, but was hoping to become part of the Enzo Maresca era.

However – there has been alot of transfer speculation in the media that he is one player that the club are looking to offload this transfer window – especially after he was left out of the pre-season tour of America.

Now Sunsports Jack Rosser has claimed that Trevoh Chalobah does not want to leave the club this summer window – he said: ‘Trevoh Chalobah feels he is being forced out of CHELSEA after being left out of their American tour.

‘Chelsea are keen to sell the academy graduate this summer and made his standing in the squad very clear by leaving the defender out of their travelling party.

‘Having joined the club at the age of nine, Chalobah’s sale would give Chelsea more financial flexibility than any other defender as the fee could be put on the books as pure profit.

‘Chalobah is happy at CHELSEA and has four years left on his deal but has plenty of admirers in the Premier League and is keen not to rush a decision on a new club should he leave’

Enzo Maresca admits the club have made a ‘sad decision’ by axing Trevoh Chalobah from their pre-season tour of the United States.

Asked about Chalobah’s situation in his first pre-season press conference in Santa Clara on Tuesday evening, Maresca said: ‘First of all, from my point of view, it’s always sad to leave players out, that can be out of a pre-season, or can be out of the squad or out of the first eleven because in the end they all work for the same target, that is to be part of the same team

‘The Trevoh situation for me is quite clear, we have Axel [Disasi] there, we have Tosin [Adarabioyo] there, we have Wes [Fofana] who in these two weeks has worked very good and is finally back, we have some very young profiles like Josh Acheampong who is doing fantastic.

‘It’s a sad decision but we have to take the decision.’

Leaving this guy out of the squad said it all. They don’t want him at Chelsea again but I bet you Chelsea are going to regret it peradventure when Fofona get injured. Chelsea word is pure profit. The pure profit talking about would not be enough to buy another player after selling him.
