Manager delighted with Chelsea deal after announcement made

CHELSEA goalkeeper Emily Orman has signed a new deal with the club, and will spend the upcoming 2023/24 campaign at Reading.
Orman signed her first professional contract with the club in the 2021/22 season, after joining their academy at age 16, before going out on loan to Championship side, Crystal Palace.
However – despite her impressive performances for Palace last season – she is well down the pecking order and the decision has been made to send her out on loan for the next 12 months.
WHAT HAS BEEN SAID.
The club posted: ‘Everyone at CHELSEA sends our congratulations to Emily on her new contract and wishes her every success during her time on loan with Reading.’
‘We feel this is the next step in her development and look forward to seeing her have a successful season with Reading.’
Good move for Orman?
Look, is she stayed put this season she would not get a look in and would struggle to make any sort of impact on the side – so this is a great move for her to make as she will get some much needed game time.
The Blues deal she has just signed is also great news for her as she knows that another impressive season could push her up that squad ranking at the club, and maybe a shot at some WSL performances.
