Willian has update and admits he has held talks about possible Chelsea exit

Chelsea star Willian has given an update on his future amid interest from the likes of United and Arsenal, and has admitted contact with a few clubs.

Willian is no longer in the prime of his footballing career, but the Brazilian is still very much part of the plans at Stamford Bridge, as Frank Lampard has admitted that he would like to keep the midfielder at the club this summer window.

The Brazilian has even come out and stated that he would sign a new contract tomorrow if we offered him that three-year contract that he is looking for, but so far, that has not been the case.

Which has led to speculation that both Arsenal Manchester United are ready to swoop in and offer him the kind of contract that he desires, and Now, amid all the speculation, Willian has given an update on his future amid interest from the the top clubs.

Speaking on YouTube channel De Sola, he said: “No, not for the time being. Chelsea aren’t jealous.

“They didn’t say anything. At least they showed no jealousy. They’re letting go!

“Just kidding, I already had a conversation with the club a few months ago, even before the break.”

Look, if Willian really wanted to stay at the club then we would accept the two-year contract that has been reportedly put on the table, as that seems like a fair offer for a man that is coming towards the end of his playing days.
