Athletic Club will not negotiate for CHELSEA target Nico Williams this summer and if any interested party wants the winger they need to match his €55m release clause.

The 21-year-old has banged in seven goals and grabbed 16 assists in 34 appearances for Athletic Bilbao this season across all fronts and is a player that is attracting some of the games biggest clubs.

It is no secret that Mauricio Pochettino is looking to add some more quality to his attack when the transfer window opens up and is keen to bolster his squad with another winger – to help cove injuries etc.

But clubs will have to match his €55m release clause in order to get a deal done, That is according to Marca, who reports the Basque club will demand the full payment of William’s release clause of €55m,

Amid all the speculation – reporter Iomie Stanley says that we should sign the player.

He said: ‘He’s fast, powerful and always runs towards the goal and facing defenders with great skills and dribbling, he is a lad with alot of potential and alot more talent.

“He’d be a very good addition to any team as his skills are devastating. he would be a man that could easily replace Raheem Sterling should the winger get sold when the transfer window opens up.

CHELSEA need impact players and right now Williams is one of the most exciting players in that Spanish League, he could be a devastating signing for the club.’
