Chelsea fans told £50 million signing ‘will be massive hit in Premier League’
Owen Hargreaves is certain that Chelsea new boy Timo Werner is going to be a hit in the Premier League.
Regarded as one of the very finest players in the game right now, Werner is a world class striker that is tipped to go on and become the best forward in the game, especially with the kind of goals he scores on a weekly basis.
We know that we have signed a top-class striker and know that he will add something to the attack, but there is still some doubt that he will be able to adjust to the pace, quality and physicality of the Premier League.
But Owen Hargreaves has eased those reports, and suggested that Werner will be a massive hit in the Premier League.
“I think it’s great news for Chelsea and Frank Lampard,” he told Premier League productions. “Chelsea fans are going to love him.
“He’s quick, he’s powerful, at 24 years of age he’s got an incredible amount of experience. He’s been the top scorer in Germany, 32 goals in all competitions. Not only that, he’s got about 12 assists to go with that.
“He gets his team-mates involved, now he’s playing in multiple positions and doesn’t necessarily just play as a centre-forward, which might suit playing with Tammy Abraham up front, who has that big physical presence with Timo Werner playing in behind.
“Frank gets a super signing and Premier League fans are going to love him.”
He will be a superstar for us and is a great signing from the club.
