Timo Werner once again showed why Chelsea are so keen to try and nail down his signature during the summer transfer window.

Regarded as one of the finest strikers in the game right now, Werner is heavily tipped to leave RB Leipzig during the transfer window and make that big money move to the Premier League, where a number of teams are reportedly interested in a deal.

Having scored just once in his past eight games, Werner produced a low finish to put Julian Nagelsmann’s side in front against a Mainz team that they battered 8-0 earlier in the season.
