JOAO FELIX WELCOMED –
Joao Felix has said that he likes what he sees of Enzo Maresca’s methodology and has admitted that it was the Italian that eventually convinced him to make the move back to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The Portugal international underwent a medical with the club on Tuesday and has put pen to paper on a seven-year contract in west London, tying him to the club until 2031
Felix, 24, spent the second half of the 2022/23 season on loan with the Blues and returns to Stamford Bridge on a permanent basis for a fee in the region of £44.5million.
He becomes the 11th signing for the club this summer and now he has admitted that it was the calls from Enzo Maresca that convinced him to make the move to Stamford Bridge this transfer window.
He told the club website upon signing for the Club: ‘It will suit my game perfectly,’ he asserts. Two phone calls with the head coach prior to signing helped convince him CHELSEA was his ideal long-term destination. Now he is here for good, Joao Felix is determined to make a lasting impression.
‘I just want to give my best to the team and the club; goals, assists,’
‘This season I want to play as many games as I can, help the team and the club be on top of world football again. Chelsea needs to be up there. This season we have to do a big season, and I am going to do my best to help.’

Enzo Maresca has all these players to choose from now and he is going to have a serious problem in the coming months as alot have been signed and probably been told that they will play.
CHELSEA OSIMHEN GREEN LIGHT –
The latest from Sky Sports News’ Kaveh Solhekol has given CHELSEA the green light to sign long-term target Victor Osimhen before the close of the transfer window next week.
There is alot more transfer talk in the media that the club still wants to add a new striker to the side that has the ability to score goals on a weekly basis, and Osimhen is a plan that the Blues would love to add to the squad.
He has already put in a transfer request in order to force a move out of the club and Napoli are willing to allow the star to leave if the right amount of money is paid – with reports suggesting that £87 million will get the Nigerian star all signed up.
PSG have also been chasing the big star in recent weeks – but if you believe the words of Solhekol Paris Saint-Germain are not actively trying to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli at the moment.
He told Sky Sports: ‘The Ligue 1 side were involved in discussions to potentially sign the striker earlier this summer but have since invested in players in other positions.
‘Nearly €150m has been spent on young players such as Desire Doue, Willian Pacho and Joao Neves, joining a squad with attacking options including Kolo Muani, Ousmane Dembele, Bradley Barcola and Marco Asensio.
‘Napoli’s asking price and the size of the overall package led to PSG moving on from Osimhen to other deals.
‘Goncalo Ramos’ ankle injury has led to reports that PSG will sign another forward this summer but Osimhen is not believed to be head coach Luis Enrique’s top target, and Ramos is only expected to be on the sidelines for a few months.’
