Chelsea want ‘very special’ £30 million attacker at Stamford Bridge
Chelsea do not want Callum Hudson-Odoi to leave on a permanent basis, according to journalist Paul Brown.
A few seasons ago Hudson-Odoi was regarded as the future of Chelsea – a special talent that doesnt come around too often and a player that the club had massive hopes for
However – he had failed to reach the heights that many expected and over the summer – he was allowed to leave the club on loan for the season in hope of getting some much needed game time with Bayer Leverkusen
The winger – once valued at £60 million – has already made seven starts for the Bundesliga side and is looking like he in enjoying his time away from Stamford Bridge
However – Brown has told GIVEMESPORT that the club are not keen on Hudson-Odoi leaving Stamford Bridge for good.

Speaking to GMS, the journalist said: “From what I hear, because of his age and the fact that he can play in more than one position, Chelsea really don’t want to let Hudson-Odoi go anywhere.”

It is clear that Hudson-Odoi does have the talent to be a massive success at Stamford Bridge and could still be that star they really want him to be.
But he has shown that he is very happy in the Bundesliga – which suits his style of play alot more – and would be open to a permanent move away from the club.
If he continues to impress over the course of the campaign – then there will be more clubs interested in a possible deal –
