Premier League star urged to sign for Chelsea and Sarri eyes £75 million Jovic deal

Paul Merson believes striker Callum Wilson should join Chelsea over Tottenham if he leaves Bournemouth this summer.
Wilson has enjoyed a fine season for the Cherries, scoring 15 goals and making nine assists to help the club challenge for a top-half finish in the Premier League, and boss Maurizio Sarri has become a firm fan of Wilson after seeing his performances this season.
But they now face a challenge from rivals Spurs, who are seeking a back-up for star man Harry Kane and are ready to meet the £35 million valuation of Wilson.

But Arsenal hero Merson has urged Wilson to sign for us as he believes the striker can establish himself as a first-team regular at Stamford Bridge.
He told Sky Sports: ‘This lad [Wilson] will have to have a serious think in the summer.
‘He’s an England centre-forward now, he’s in the England squad, he’s playing every week in the Premier League. ‘If he goes to Tottenham, he’s not playing. Full stop. He’ll only play every now and then when Harry Kane’s not fit, and that means then he’s never playing for England again.
‘Now England are going places, we’ve got a chance of winning the European Championships next year, you want to be involved.
‘In a year’s time, if people are playing in their team and scoring goals, he’s going to be behind.
‘I’d be seriously looking at Chelsea Tottenham, for him, because he will play there. He would be their centre-forward.’
Meanwhile, We are lining up a summer move for the highly-rated striker Steven Jovic.
We ended month of speculation during the January transfer window and managed to secure a loan deal for Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuaín, while also wrapping up a deal which saw Alvaro Morata depart for Atletico Madrid, as they needed to revamp the front-line.
Recent reports have claimed we have already made a £39 million offer to sign the hitman, who has scored an impressive 26 goals already for Eintracht Frankfurt this season, but that has been swiftly rejected by the German side.
However, the Daily Express website have claimed that we will look to head back in during the summer transfer window and try to tempt the Bundesliga side into selling Jovic, with reports suggesting they will take close to £75 million for the 21-year old.
Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Fredi Bobic recently claimed that it will be hard to turn down an offer from Zinedine Zidanes side.
Bobic has admitted that Jovic leaving the club in the coming transfer windows is inevitable, especially if Madrid come calling.
“My desire is for him to remain at Eintracht but I am realistic, if a club like Madrid comes in for him, we do not have a chance of keeping him,” he said.
