CHELSEA talent Harvey Vale has joined League One side Bristol Rovers on a season-long loan.

The club have some of the best young talents in the Premier League and are a side that are constantly loaning players out in order to get some market value for the lads.

And the decision has been made to now allow the young Vale to head out on loan to Bristol Rovers for the next season after they made the moves to get a deal done at this stage of the transfer window.

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –

The club posted: ‘The attacking midfielder made his senior debut for the Blues back in December 2021, in a Carabao Cup quarter-final victory at Brentford.

It will be the second loan away from CHELSEA for the England youth international, following his move to Hull City last season.

Bristol Rovers, managed by ex-Premier League player Joey Barton, have drawn both of their opening two League One fixtures of the season.

Best of luck, Harvey!’

Bristol Rovers posted: ‘The 19-year-old plays in midfield and has made five appearances for parent club Chelsea and three appearances for Hull City last year whilst on loan.

‘He is highly thought of at Chelsea receiving the Academy Player of the Year award in the 2021/22 season.

‘Vale has represented his country as he captained the England Under-20s side to the round of 16 in the Under-20s World Cup in the summer of 2023.

‘The Englishman will wear the number 19 number shirt for Rovers and is eligible against Charlton.’

The lad needs some game time so this is a very good decision from the board to make – hopefully he is able to impress during his time at Rovers.
