Neil Robertson wants Leeds United midfielder Tyler Adams at Chelsea after being impressed by his performances at the World Cup.

Adams captained the USA throughout their time in Qatar as America made it out of the group stages but were eventually eliminated by the Netherlands 3-1.

His performances at the World Cup has led to some rumours that Chelsea have been impressed by the American and could make a move in the coming window in order to add a bit more depth to the squad.

Responding on his personal Twitter account  to a post asking who Chelsea should sign based on impressing at the World Cup, Robertson has opened up and claimed that he would love Adams to sign for Chelsea.

He wrote: “Tyler Adams 100%. Leader, Humble, great energy and a perfect fit.”

However – according to Fabrizio Romano, the Yorkshire side have no plans whatsoever to let their new star midfielder leave.

Romano said on Adams’ Leeds future: “Inter Milan are not in talks to sign Tyler Adams as things stand.

“I’m sure Leeds will try to keep him, they love Tyler as a player but also I’m told they love his attitude in the dressing room.

“It always depends on the proposals, we will see; too early to say. But I think he’s very good player with a top future.”
