Tuchel has addresses Chelsea transfer plans now Abramovic has put club on market
Thomas Tuchel has addressed the questions of Chelsea’s transfer plans in the summer now that owner Roman Abramovic has decided to sell the club.
Chelsea are in the headlines for many reasons over the past few weeks, as there is alot of speculation about the direction of the club after Abramovic was forced to severe ties with the club
With Russian businessmen being forced to sever ties with institutions outside of their homeland in the wake of Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, Chelsea’s billionaire owner is preparing to part with a lucrative Premier League asset for a fee of around £3 billion
But all the speculation about the possible takeover of the club has not stopped all the speculation in the media which has suggested that Thomas Tuchel already has a shopping list of players that he would liked signed by the club
However, Tuchel is reluctant to be drawn on what transfer plans could look like once Roman Abramovich has completed his sale of the club, with the Blues looking to keep collective focus locked on the present.
Asked about his recruitment plans for the summer transfer window, Blues boss Tuchel said: “There have been no talks for the summer. It is simply too early.
“We’re in a good place at the moment. I feel the team growing and getting better and better. So no worries on this case until the summer. There is a long way to go.”
It is a very interesting time for fans as they never believed that Abramovic would ever sell the club. But now that he has, maybe the new owner will look to spend some serious money and add some real superstars to the side?
