Chelsea transfer news – £72M Spaniard gets massive offer to move
Reporter Rudy Galetti has reported that Al-Ittihad have made an offer to sign un-wanted Chelsea star Kepa.
Arrizabalaga spent last season on loan at Real Madrid where he made 20 appearances in all competitions and won La Liga and the Champions League.
However – the Spaniards made the decision to not keep the Spaniard on a permanent basis and he made the move back to London once his contract ended on July 1st.
But the club reportedly do not want the stopper at the club and have been keen to offload Kepa for the past few weeks – and now it looks like the Spanish star has a way out of Stamford Bridge.
Galetti has reported that Al-Ittihad have made an offer to sign Kepa and have sent the goalkeeper an official offer of a long term contract worth €7m per year.
He took to X.com and said: “#AlIttihad sent an official bid to #Kepa: a long-term contract with a salary set at €7m/y.
“The club is waiting for a response from the GK. Talks are always underway also with #CHELSEA, who consider him out of the plans: contacts with PIF will continue.”

Kepa could have been a world class stopper if he had not made the move to the club so early in his career – he has been unable to handle the pressures of playing for a massive side like ours – and even struggled at Madrid at times.
