Chelsea told possible signing ‘Similar to Didier Drogba’
Chelsea target Ivan Toney is similar in style to Blues legend Didier Drogba, believes journalist Pete O’Rourke.
We are easily one of the best sides in the Premier League and Europe – but they have struggled for goals so far this season.
Despite all the attacking quality that Graham Potter has in that squad of his – the club have only netted 17 times in the Premier League this season – and he knows that he needs to sign a striker in January.
There has been so many big names linked with a move to the club – But Ivan Toney is a player that has caught the eye of all the big clubs in England.
Ever since arriving to the Premier League with Brentford just a few seasons ago – he is rated as one of the best – one of the strongest and one of the most productive strikers in the League.
And amid all the speculation that we have made contact over a possible deal – O’Rourke has claimed that he would bring a similar style to Chelsea that Didier Drogba managed.
Speaking to GMS, the journalist said: “He’s similar in style to Drogba, whether he’s as good a player as Didier Drogba, that’s still open for debate.
