Chelsea told to wrap up summer signing of midfielder
CHELSEA have been encouraged to pursue James Ward-Prowse this summer transfer window
The club have been in the headlines alot already this transfer window as they look to sign players that will come in and help make a difference to the squad for Mauricio Pochettino
But Ward-Prowse has been one name that has been mentioned as a possible transfer target for the Blues after he failed to help Southampton stay in the Premier League last season.
Now – John Barnes has told the club that they should make a move for JWP – while also admitting that he would not suit the style of Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp
Barnes told Bonuscodebets: “Liverpool are a much more dynamic, hard working team in midfield compared to the way Ward-Prowse tends to play.
“There are other clubs within the top 6 which play a style which would suit Ward-Prowse and he would suit them..”
“He certainly has the quality to play for one of the top six clubs.”
“Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United could be good destinations for him.”

Ward-Prowse is a very good midfielder that should be in the Premier League and the fact that Arsenal could get him for a transfer bargain – he would be a solid addition to that midfield that is for sure.
He would be good to have in key moments of the match – he would give his something that we have been missing – a world class set-piece taker that can add some extra goals
