Chelsea board encouraged to sell £40M valued star

Willem Gallas has told CHELSEA that Armando Broja will never be able to lead their attack.

Just a few seasons ago Broja was hailed as the next big thing for Chelsea after an impressive loan stint with Southampton, and he was given a chance to prove that he is able to leave that attack.

However – injuries, poor performances and the clubs inability to create on a regular basis has meant that Broja has struggled to make any sort of impact at Stamford Bridge, and he has been just watching his career pass him by.

This season has not been any different – and despite some decent performances – he has shown that he is not the man to lead that Chelsea attack and help drive Chelsea back into Champions League football.

Now – amid all the speculation that a number of Premier League are keen on a deal – Gallas has sent a clear message over the striker and claimed that he is not good enough to lead the clubs attack.

“Broja is still young and you can see there is quality there, but I watched the Fulham game and I watched him at Southampton and he’s not a player who can fit at CHELSEA,” he said via Gambling Zone.

“When you play up front you have to be a monster. You have to have a different set of skills, score goals and even if he tries to score, he has to work more. He’s 22 and at this age in football, you have to be the number one and if he doesn’t score goals right now he won’t be a top class striker.”
