Chelsea told sign powerhouse – Elite striker open Chelsea move – Blues keen on Argentine star
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed –
Chelsea are reportedly increasingly keen on the potential transfer of Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez, according to journalist Simon Phillips.
The January transfer window is now open and it will give the club an opportunity to delve into that transfer kitty and try to add a few more players to the side that are able to make a real difference to the side.
Adding a striker is high up on the agenda, and if you believe the words of Phillips we are once again interested in trying to sign Lautaro Martinez, a man that has been linked with the club for the last few windows.
He said: ‘As I’ve said numerous times now, this January will be all about opportunities for CHELSEA in terms of sales and new signings.
‘I understand that the owners met up last week to discuss January plans, and there have been regular meetings between Mauricio Pochettino and the sporting directors. They will all be coming together again this week to initiate and start some of the plans when a conclusion has been reached on priorities in terms of positions and players.
‘Pochettino said yesterday that he wont be pushing for transfers, but we all know what he wants and is blatantly clear that he does want a new arrival or two in the winter window – he literally said so himself just a few weeks ago!
‘He’s consistently asked for more experience/proven players, and a new striker remains the priority for Chelsea in January – that is a collective feeling.
‘Player sales are vital, and I’m told there are more than a handful of players that Chelsea would listen to offers for in the next two windows – Conor Gallagher is one of them.
‘However, as of now, I’m told there are no talks happening between Tottenham and CHELSEA for Gallagher, but Ange Postecoglou’s side do have a very keen interest in the England international.’
OSIMHEN OPEN TO MOVE –
Napoli Striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly open to the idea of making a move to CHELSEA in the January window.
Osimhen has ready established himself as one of the very best strikers in the game right now and a man that is tipped to make a big transfer move in the next couple of windows.
He helped Napoli win their first League title for many seasons and led the scoring charts in the process – with reports suggesting that the Italians now value him at around the £1o0 million mark.
The club have somewhat struggled in front of goal so far this season, with summer signing Nicolas Jackson only finding the net seven times so far this season, Mauricio Pochettino’s side have struggled to put their chances away in games this term.
According to the ESPN website, Pochettino is keen for the club to recruit another striker and Osimhen is currently at the top of the club’s shortlist.
The report also claims that Osimhen is interested in joining the club, despite their lack of Champions League football.
Napoli, however, are set to demand a transfer fee in excess of £100 million.

Osimhen is one of the very best players in world football, there is no doubt about that guys, so If we manage to wrap up a deal, they will be signing a 30 goal a season striker.
CHELSEA TOLD SIGN TONEY –
Pundit Jermaine Jenas has told CHELSEA that they should look to sign Ivan Toney in the January window.
Toney is nearing a return to action following a 10-month ban from football and we are reportedly keen to try and get a deal done when the transfer window opens up in just a few weeks time.
Toney is seen as one of the best forwards in the Premier League and a player that is ready to take that next step in his career, despite the fact he has been out of action for a few months because of his off-field antics.
And amid all the transfer speculation – Pundit Jenas has opened up and told the board that they should do all they can to try and sign Ivan Toney this coming transfer window.
Jenas said on TNT Sports: “Ivan Toney, I think he is built for this team, Ivan Toney, personally, the way that they play. He would be the one that I would, yeah definitely, go for if I were the manager.”
However – Brentford boss Thomas Frank has admitted that they are desperate to keep the £80 million valued striker in the January transfer window.
Thomas Frank said: “Is he raring to go? Oh yeah, definitely. To get Ivan back will be like signing an unbelievably good Premier League striker.
“Ivan is training very well on and off the pitch, looking forward to finally contributing to the team.
“I really, really would like to keep him. As a coach I’d love to have my best players with me all the time. From my perspective, I don’t want to sell him because I think he’s fantastic.
“Last year there were three players scoring more than 20 goals in the Premier League, he was one of them.
“I’m enjoying him every day and looking forward to finally using him.
“Ivan is a Brentford player. No bids. I want to keep him. And he’s looking forward to playing for us.”
