Forget Lukaku as Tuchel told to sign absolute superstar for Chelsea

Chelsea have been told to sign superb Robert Lewandowski in the summer and get rid of the much talks about Romelu Lukaku.

Lukaku has been in the headlines alot over the past few weeks as it seems that he does not want to stay at Stamford Bridge – and instead wants to depart and re-join Inter Milan on a loan deal or a more permanent one

Lewandowski is also a player that has been in the headlines alot over the past few months after he dropped the bombshell that he no longer wanted to stay at Bayern Munich – and instead wants to leave the club THIS TRANSFER window

Barcelona are the club that he would like to join most – but former Blues star Scott Minto thinks the club should go all-in for the Bundesliga superstar – especially with all the speculation surrounding Lukaku

“I personally would like to see Tuchel somehow have the conversation with Lukaku and say ‘what do we need to do to get the best out of you’,” Minto told talkSPORT

“It’s not going to happen. We know that. Tuchel has said it’s not about us adjusting to him, he has to adjust to us.

“It has clearly not happened.

“Lewandowski would be absolutely superb in the short term. Even if he’s on a two-year contract, he might get away with a three.

“He’s proven right now. Chelsea are all about the here and now, they have been for the last two decades.”

Lewandowski is one of the very best players in the game – but most of his goals last season were in the Bundesliga and just like Lukaku was at Inter – he banged in goals for fun

The Premier League would be a fresh challenge for the man at a stage in his career where he will be hitting the downward curve – and maybe that is why he wants a move to Spanish football

We are not saying that he wouldnt be a great signing – we are just saying – he could actually struggle to adapt to the playing style of the club
