Chelsea told potential signing will bring goals – Striker opens door to Blues move – Chelsea told to sign forward
Here is a roundup of the top Chelsea news and gossip from icchelseanews that we think you could have missed…
Michael Dawson has opened up and claimed that Ivan Toney would bring guaranteed goals to CHELSEA and is surprised that nobody ha signed the big man yet.
Toney looked destined for a move to a Saudi club after agreeing personal terms with Al-Ahli, with the price on the forward to move to a Saudi club touching a low of 1/3 but now lengthening to 7/4 after today’s news.
It has been recently claimed that we have made a late offer to get a deal done for the player and amid the speculation and rumours, and Discussing Toney’s future on Sky Sports, Dawson said: ‘I would be surprised [if Toney is still a Brentford player by the end of the window].
‘When he got left out last week, that was a surprise to me with the new signing [Igor] Thiago being out for a long period. Brentford are trying to get money as he is going into his final year.
‘I am a massive fan of Ivan Toney. I cannot believe another Premier League club hasn’t come in to get him. The Chelsea’s. CHELSEA sign everyone!
‘You are getting goals. Guaranteed in a Brentford team – 12 months ago, people were talking about him being an £80m player. I am disappointed. There are a lack of centre-forwards and goalscorers out there.’

GYOKERESS BOOST –
Long-time CHELSEA target Victor Gyojeres has revealed that he is open to a move away from Sporting Lisbon this transfer window.
Nicolas Jackson seemed to have the trust of his old manager Mauricio Pochettino, but it does not look like that will stop CHELSEA from entering the market for a new No.9.
He has been impressive at time during his stint at Stamford Bridge, but he does not look like a forward that has the ability to push on and score 20-30 or even 40 goals a season for the Blues.
And that has led to constant speculation in the media over the past few months that we will once again delve into that transfer kitty and add another striker to that attack that has the ability to score goals and Gyokeres is reportedly on the list.
The Swedish striker was in sensational form this season scoring 43 goals in all competitions for the club last season and is a player that all the big clubs are after.
And Speaking after Sporting CP’s 5-0 win on Friday, in which he scored a hat-trick, Gyokeres kept the door open to a summer exit – he said: “We never know what’s going to happen. It doesn’t just depend on me. We’ll see, but I feel good here.
“In football, in the transfer window, it’s normal, there are things we don’t know, that happen quickly. But I love being here, there’s no stress.”
Reporter Iomie Stanley recently claimed that Gyokeres would score goals at the club- Stanley said: ““He’s good enough. He’ll score goals. He scored at Coventry, he has scored alot of goals for Sporting.
‘There’s talent out there that may not cost alot of money, he is just the type of player that the CHELSEA board like to sign.’

MIKEL WANTS TONEY –
Former Blues defender John Obi-Mikel has opened up and encouraged Chelsea to complete the signing of Ivan Toney, claiming that the big man could be perfect for the club this summer.
Speaking on his podcast, Obi Mikel – who won two Premier League titles, four FA Cups and the Champions League during his spell at CHELSEA – said: ‘If we can get him through the door at Chelsea, I’d be very, very happy.
‘He’s a fantastic player. I think on that side of the pitch, we’re very strong. But listen, if we can get a player like Jadon, of course, you’d be happy to have him. If that happens, I’d be very happy.’
