Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has confirmed Kalidou Koulibaly will leave for the right price this summer, with Chelsea linked
Koulibaly has firmly established himself as one of the very best centre-backs over in Italy over the past few seasons and his performances have led to rumours that he is coming to the Premier League
Now we have once again been handed a massive boost as De Laurentiis has confirmed Kalidou Koulibaly will leave for the right price this summer, with reports suggesting that he would now take £60 million for the powerhouse.
De Laurentiis told Canale 21: “Koulibaly and [Napoli striker Arkadiusz] Milik are both on their way out, transfer market permitting.
“So, if the transfer market allows us to sell these two excellent players, we will know how to replace them.
“If not, then we’ll discuss it again next year.”
Look, we have just signed the brilliant Thiago Silva, that could be the best signing for the club this summer, But Koulibaly is a player that is regarded as one of the very best in the business right now.
He would be at the club for the next four or five seasons and honestly, would make us much more solid than he have been.
We are big fans of Koulibaly and believe that signings like him are what we need at the back to mount a serious challenge for that premier League title.
So we are hoping that a move from the club is made, we would be fools not to make a move
