Chelsea told £60 million is price to pay to sign in-demand Premier League attacker

Brentford have slapped an asking price of £60m on Bryan Mbeumo as he continues to be linked with the likes of CHELSEA after an impressive start to the new Premier League season for the attacker.

We started the new season in fine fashion with many tipping the Blues to get back into those Champions League places, although there has been some dodgy performances for Enzo Maresca’s side this campaign.

The Blues have struggled in front of goal at times this season, with Nicolas Jackson not scoring the goals that the club would like and Christopher Nkunku only getting real minutes in Europe, leading to reports that Mbeumo is a player that the club are very much interested in signing.

What is the Latest?

Only Manchester City superstar Erling Haaland has more goals than Mbeumo so far this season and reports say his form has caught the eye of Arsenal, Liverpool and Newcastle.

Given the growing interest in Mbeumo, Brentford are planning to tie him down until the summer of 2027 but are reportedly open to selling if a club makes an offer in the region of £60m According to Fichajes.

Brentford boss Thomas Frank has recently tipped Mbeumo to join a ‘bigger club’ at some stage: ‘He’s added another layer this year,’ he said earlier in the season. ‘I’m convinced one day he’ll play for a bigger club.
