Chelsea told £54M star ‘has ability to go to another level’

Freddy Adu has opened up and told Chelsea that Christian Pulisic has the ability to go to another level
Pulisic pushed to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer transfer window after failing to establish himself under former boss Thomas Tuchel – and is now once again in the transfer headlines as he fails to establish himself under Graham Potter
The World Cup in Qatar will offer him a stage to shine with the US beginning their group campaign against Wales on 21 November – and Speaking to Offers.Bet, former USA striker and wonderkid, Freddy Adu, has discussed Christian Pulisic’s ability and whether he could play for Real Madrid in the future.
“I think he’s a very good player,” Adu said.
“He hasn’t had a lot of chances with Chelsea. Recently there hasn’t been a massive amount of US players have gotten to play consistently in the Premier League.
“If Pulisic gets consistent game time and is a regular starter, his game will go a whole new level. Training is one thing, but playing matches is what sharpens your game and takes your game to the next level.
“I think Pulisic is being held back a little bit by the fact that he’s not getting that much playing time at the moment.
“If he gets the playing time that he needs, then his game will go to the next level because he’s a very, very talented and already very good player.”
Asked whether his lack of game time will affect his performance at the World Cup, Adu responded: “Yeah, he’s such an important part of the team. When he’s playing well the team looks good, so we need him at the top of his game for The World Cup.
“As of right now, it’s difficult because he’s not getting the game-time to keep him sharp and his level as high as possible. It’s a little bit of a worry right now.”
Asked whether Pulisic is good enough to become the first American player to play for Real Madrid, he responded: “I’d be amazed if he was the first US player to play at Real Madrid.
“When you think of Madrid it’s the biggest club in the world to a lot of people. He’s good enough, he’s talented enough, it’s just a matter of getting that playing time and once he gets it, he needs to take advantage of it.
“It can’t be one good game, one okay game – he has to be consistent. So this is a very important World Cup, not only for him, but a lot of players in the squad.”
