Chelsea ‘are to be presented with an opportunity’ to sign La Liga star

Chelsea are to be presented with an opportunity to sign Real Madrid star Marco Asensio – it has been reported
The Spanish international has a respectable record of ten goals and one assist to his credit this season – despite his limited game time under boss Carlo Ancelotti – and there has been more doubts about his future at the club
Madrid do appreciate just how talented the lad is, and he has been impressive at times, but he has not lived upto the expectations of the club and with Madrid looking to freshen up the side, he is a player that they will reportedly be willing to let go.
Asensio’s chances of leaving Real Madrid have decreased after Kylian Mbappe opted to stay at PSG – but he is looking for a chance to play on a more regular basis at this stage of his career and has decided to listen to offers in the summer.
Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior have been brilliant this season and are now ahead of him in the pecking order – and with some new signings also expected to arrive in the summer – he knows he will fall even further down the pecking order
And El Chiringuito have claimed that the likes of Arsenal – Man United – Chelsea and even Newcastle United will be given the chance to try and get the player all signed up
The Spain international playmaker is a client of Jorge Mendes and will be offered to the Premier League giants as he prepares to take on a new challenge away from fierce competition in the Spanish capital.

The club have always admired Asensio, who has a £200 million release clause in his contract. and if there is a chance to finally swoop in and offer him some sort of deal, then we can see the club doing that
