Thorgan has big announcement on Chelsea future of star man Eden Hazard
Eden Hazard is not contemplating a mid-season move away from Chelsea, according to his brother Thorgan Hazard.
It is no secret Hazard is on the radar of Real Madrid after sold Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus in the summer transfer window, and were linked with a move before the season started, especially since the £170 million rated Belgian was open to the idea of signing for the Spanish giants.
Hazard has constantly come out and admitted that his dream is to one day win the Champions league and Ballon D’or titles before his playing days are over, and a move to La Liga would give him the best opportunity to achieve those goals, considering both have been dominated by Barcelona or Madrid over the past few seasons.
But then Maurizio Sarri became boss and ultimately convinced Hazard to stay and try to help us get back into the Champions League for next season, as well as challenge for the Premier League title.
However, there has been some fresh speculation that Madrid are ready to swoop in this coming January transfer window and try to seal a £200 million offer for Hazard after his great start to the new season.
But Thorgan has told Blues fans not to worry, as Eden will not be leaving in the coming transfer window, telling the Sky Sports website: “I think Eden will see what happens at the end of the season.
“I know him. He’s not thinking about a move right now.
“In any case Real Madrid are in transition.
“He’ll wait and give his best, then see what happens at the end of the season.
“He doesn’t want to clash with Chelsea. If he does go one day he’ll do it in the correct way, without problems for the club.”[the_ad id=”238″]
Here is what we think.
The news that Hazard is not thinking about leaving in the January transfer window is great, as it will now give us an opportunity to add some silverware to the squad by the summer and convince him to stay at Stamford Bridge for the rest of his career.
The little Belgian is an absolute superstar for us and the only way to keep hold is not by offering him money, but helping him achieve his dreams.
