Cheeky Man United open talks to seal stunning Chelsea deal for Kante?

chelsea, hazard, premier league

Chelsea have been rocked by reports Manchester United have opened transfer talks with N’Golo Kante’s entourage.

Kante is regarded as one of the finest midfielders in world football after developing into an absolute superstar at Stamford Bridge, and has been an integral part of the Blues side since his arrival from Leicester City.

And we are eager to tie Kante down to a new contract, with the midfielder’s current deal expiring in 2021 and speculation French giants PSG are ready to offer around £200 million, and a big contract, to tempt him away from London and back to his homeland.

But as talks fail to progress at the rate we would like, there has been some sensational claims on the Daily Express website which have claimed United are looking to take advantage of the contract stand-off by making contact with the entourage of the Frenchman.

It is no secret that United boss Jose Mourinho is desperate to strengthen his squad in the coming transfer windows, and is a huge fan of Kante, whom he believes is the best holding midfielder in world football.

However, the reports go on to suggest that we have no intention of selling to United and even though contact has been made, they are still hopeful of secure his signature in a new contract deal worth around £290,000-a-week.

Would we sell Kante to United? Here is what we think.

Kante is a big part of the plans at Stamford Bridge and letting him leave right in the middle of the club trying to get back to the very top of the game is something the club have not prepared for, so they will do everything they can to keep hold of the Frenchman.

But if they do sell Kante, then it will surely be abroad as the Frenchman is far too good to let join a Premier League rival.
