Chelsea have closed in on a transfer deal for Nicolas Tagliafico, and have been told the price to pay to get a deal done.

We have been in the transfer headlines alot over the past few months as indications suggest that boss Frank Lampard is keen to spend some serious money and improve areas of the back-line ahead of next season.

we were keen on trying to sign Tagliafico last summer, but could not get a deal done as Ajax did not want to lose too many of their star names after a tremendous season back in the big time
