Agreement in place as agent tells Chelsea top-class target Tagliafico will be leaving Ajax in the summer

Chelsea target Nicolas Tagliafico’s agent has told Ajax his man will leave the club this summer, with the Emirates a possible destination.

We have been in the transfer headlines alot over the past few months as indications suggest that boss Frank Lampard is keen to spend some serious money and improve areas of the back-line ahead of next season.

And one area of the pitch that weare reportedly keen to improve is that of the left-back area, with constant reports in the media linking us with big money moves with many players.

We were keen on trying to sign Tagliafico last summer, but could not get a deal done as Ajax did not want to lose too many of their star names after a tremendous season back in the big time

Now it seems that we could manage to complete a transfer deal in the summer if they wish, as his agent has come out and revealed that the left-back will be looking to leave Ajax in the summer window.

Agent Ricardo Schlieper said on the Sun: “We are looking for a transfer from Tagliafico.

“We have agreed with Ajax for a departure this year.

“After spending two and a half seasons at the club, now is the perfect time.”

Tagliafico is  avery good attacking left-back that does have real ability and for that £20 million that he is reportedly going for, how could we miss out on an opportunity to bring him to the club this summer.

We would be fools not to try and get him in the summer, especially as we will have the money to complete this deal.
